Summary: The role of AEOI - Tax Compliance Analyst involves supporting the Governance Services (AEOI) team for a top international firm, focusing on regulatory services related to FATCA and CRS for clients in the Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands. The analyst will be responsible for preparing and submitting annual filings, reviewing documentation, and liaising with various stakeholders. The position requires a strong academic background and relevant experience in regulatory services, particularly in the investment funds industry. The role is contract-based and remote, requiring a self-motivated individual with excellent analytical and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the provision of regulatory services to clients, primarily in FATCA and CRS related services.
  • Preparation and submission of FATCA and CRS annual filings for BVI and Cayman Islands entities.
  • Collection and review of documentation for the classification of account holders in accordance with FATCA and CRS standards and updating of systems.
  • Liaison with clients, investors, investment managers and other third parties in various international jurisdictions.

Key Skills:

  • University graduate with a strong academic background, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
  • Three to five years relevant experience in FATCA/CRS or similar regulatory services, accounting or data management in the investment funds industry.
  • Some understanding of FATCA and CRS regulatory requirements in BVI and the Cayman Islands preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to read and interpret documentation in line with specific requirements.
  • Ability to use initiative, be self-motivated, and work independently under pressure to complete high volumes of work under tight deadlines.
  • High degree of attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency, ability to multi-task, and excellent organisational, prioritisation, and communication skills.
