Summary: The role is for an AEM Developer with expertise in Adobe Cloud Services and Digital Asset Management (DAM), focusing on designing, developing, and deploying AEM-based solutions. The position is fully remote and requires collaboration with various stakeholders to deliver high-performance websites and applications. Candidates should have extensive experience with AEM and related Adobe products, as well as strong technical skills in web development. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy AEM-based solutions (Sites, Assets, Workflows, and Forms).
- Integrate AEM with Adobe Cloud Services including Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and Adobe Launch.
- Manage and optimize Digital Asset Management (DAM) capabilities, metadata schemas, asset workflows, and integrations.
- Build and maintain AEM components, templates, dialogs, workflows, and services using HTL, Sling, OSGi, and JCR.
- Develop APIs and services to integrate AEM with third-party systems and cloud platforms.
- Configure and maintain AEM instances (author/publish), dispatcher configurations, and cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and content authors to deliver high-performance, scalable websites and applications.
- Implement best practices for AEM development, including CI/CD, code reviews, performance optimization, and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AEM performance, deployments, and content delivery.
- Stay updated with AEM and Adobe Experience Cloud product updates and recommend improvements.
Key Skills:
- 3 6+ years of hands-on development experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.x or AEM as a Cloud Service).
- Strong experience with Adobe Experience Cloud products (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe Launch).
- Expertise in Digital Asset Management (DAM): metadata models, asset ingestion workflows, renditions, and rights management.
- Proficient in Java, J2EE, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and modern front-end frameworks.
- Deep understanding of Apache Sling, JCR, OSGi, HTL (Sightly), and AEM Workflows.
- Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service, including pipelines, environments, and cloud manager tools.
- Experience integrating with RESTful services, headless CMS approaches, and GraphQL.
- Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Adobe Cloud Manager), and Agile development methodologies.
