Summary: The Adult Social Care Business Analyst role in Bristol involves supporting the ASC transformation and improvement programme through process design and redesign. The position requires extensive experience in business analysis, particularly within Adult Social Care projects for local authorities. The role is predominantly remote and focuses on enhancing business processes from a customer perspective. The contract offers a competitive daily rate and is classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and undertake all necessary business analysis tasks including gaining a solid understanding of current processes and pain points, developing 'to be' processes, user needs analysis and requirements elicitation
- Review, analyse and evaluate business systems and user needs to redesign end-to-end business processes so that they are designed from the customer perspective, are efficient and enabled by improved information technology solutions
- Construct workflow charts and diagrams, studying system capabilities, writing specifications, producing 'as-is' process maps, use cases/user stories, product backlogs and 'to-be' design documents as required.
- Improve systems by studying current practices; designing modifications and recommend controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures.
Key Skills:
- Extensive experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in an Adult Social Care Transformation Project/Programme for a Local Authority.
- Extensive experience in Service Design/Re-Design and Process Improvement
- Exemplary facilitation skills (both workshops and meetings), demonstrating the use of a range of techniques to support both end to end process redesign
- Experience of independently delivering agreed business analysis and process design outputs to support achievement of project objectives and business outcomes

My client in Bristol is looking to appoint a talented Adult Social Care Business Analyst on a Contract basis.
The role will support the ASC transformation and improvement programme, utilising skills in Process Design & Redesign.
About the role:
Based in Bristol (Remote working):
