Summary: The Adobe Marketo Specialist role is focused on leveraging Adobe's marketing automation platform to implement and optimize campaigns for B2B companies. The position requires extensive experience with Adobe Marketo, including integration with CRM systems and compliance with data privacy regulations. The specialist will also be responsible for training internal teams and collaborating with various stakeholders to align marketing strategies with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 5+ years of experience in Adobe Platform with proven track record of Adobe Marketo implementations for B2B companies (ask for case studies or references).
  • Certified Expert (MCE) or higher (e.g., Marketo Certified Solutions Architect) with Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem and how Marketo fits in.
  • Knowledge of Marketo Smart Campaigns, Programs, Smart Lists, and Tokens.
  • To set up and optimize nurture campaigns, lead scoring, and segmentation.
  • Integrating Marketo with CRM systems (in our case, Microsoft Dynamics) with data governance, deduplication, and database management of Marketo Landing Page and Email Template customization (HTML/CSS)
  • To map business goals to marketing automation strategy.
  • Designing lead lifecycle models and revenue funnels in engagement programs, ABM (Account-Based Marketing), and personalization of GDPR, CCPA, and other data privacy regulations relevant to marketing automation
  • Implementation methodology (e.g., phased rollout vs. full migration) to provide a project plan, milestones, and timelines
  • Communication skills for working with marketing, sales, and IT stakeholders
  • To train internal teams on Marketo best practices deliverables (campaign setup guides, process flows, playbooks)

Key Skills:

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing automation, specifically with Adobe Marketo.
  • Certification as Marketo Certified Expert (MCE) or higher.
  • Proficiency in Marketo Smart Campaigns, Programs, Smart Lists, and Tokens.
