Summary: As an Accounts Receivable (AR) Accountant, you will oversee a global portfolio of accounts, ensuring accurate and timely recording of daily receipts. You will specialize in one of four sub-teams and work closely with stakeholders to enhance systems and processes. Your role will involve managing customer payments, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with procedures. Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and allocate incoming customer payments (via direct debit and bank transfer) daily, ensuring accuracy and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Maintain accurate records related to customer remittances and AR transactions; perform general ledger reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and documentation standards.
  • Support sub-team operations:
    • Direct Debit: Manage direct debit collections.
    • GLs: Handle month-end close activities, SOX controls, and finance close support.
    • Autobank: Maintain and improve automatic payment allocation processes.
    • Global Chains: Manage collections from large international hotel chains.
  • Communicate regularly with banks, third-party providers, and internal stakeholders at various levels.
