Key Responsibilities:
- Support North America Ventures accounting processes including accounts receivable, customer deductions, and collections.
- Coordinate with shared services partners like Genpact and Accenture.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and annual activities.
- Provide guidance and point of escalation for activities completed by business partners.
- Manage compliance with internal control frameworks and improve accounting processes.
- Assist with customer deduction resolution and collection support.
- Collaborate with IT teams to resolve system challenges and recommend improvements.
- Support training on AR processes and assist in month-end closing processes.
- Review balance sheet account reconciliations and identify potential risks.
- Support internal/external audits and SOX controls documentation.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor of Science and/or Business degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA desired.
- 5 years of accounting/finance experience with significant experience in accounting.
- Strong background in financial systems, particularly NetSuite and Vividly.
- Experience in the CPG industry preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in process management and improvement.
- Strong influencing and communication skills.
- Proficient in Excel and capable of handling complex data analysis.
- Technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in account analysis with a background in Blackline is a plus.
- Internal/External Audit experience.

Responsibilities

The Accounts Receivable Analyst will support the North America Ventures accounting processes for areas including accounts receivable, customer deductions, collections, general ledger accounting, and internal controls. You will also coordinate with our shared services partners; Genpact and Accenture. Strong accounting/finance knowledge and analytical skills as well as good communication skills and assertiveness are key to be successful in this role. The role includes improving processes in the assigned areas as well as ensuring monthly, quarterly, and annual activities are completed accurately and on a timely basis.
A strong background in and affinity to financial systems is required, including experience in NetSuite, trade promotion management tools, and Blackline.
The position will report to the Accounting and Shared Services Manager, NA Ventures
You will:Provide guidance and point of escalation for activities in the areas completed by our business partners.Ensure the validity of the NA Ventures balance sheet accounts.Manage compliance with our internal control framework and improve current accounting processes and controls.Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual activities are completed accurately and timely.

Job Responsibilities include:Provide resolution for the day-to-day AR queries from the Accenture partners and internal business teams.Assist with researching and resolving customer deductions, including spoilage, cash discounts, promotional discounts, rebates, product returns, freight claims, and other adjustments taken by customers as required.Support customer deduction matching process in trade promotion management system, Vividly, and audit processed deduction for accuracy.Collection support on past due balances.Collaborate with Vividly support team and NetSuite IT team to find resolutions to system challenges and recommend system improvements.Assist with AR process standardization across Ventures entities.Support training for Ventures on AR processes.Support the month-end closing process and help analyze and resolve issues as they arise.Assist with standardization of internal control reporting across venture entities. Make recommendations for process optimization.Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual activities are completed accurately and timely.Review balance sheet account reconciliations for potential risks.Work cross-functionally with internal business partners including Venture teams and FP&A.Help identify and lead projects to support accounting process improvements.Assist in the monthly governance process by identifying and communicating gaps.Ensure US GAAP and company policies are adhered to for all transactions.Support Internal/External Audit and Internal controls team with ad hoc accounting information and SOX controls documentation.Support other ad hoc tasks/projects as assigned.
