Job Description Accessibility Testers x 2 Starting Immediately - Start of January 3 Months Initially - Remote Working £450-£500 per a day Inside IR35 We are looking for experienced Accessibility Testers to join a high-impact project within the public sector. This role is central to ensuring our digital services aren't just compliant, but are genuinely inclusive for all citizens.

The Role You will be integrated into a multi-disciplinary team working to refine and uphold world-class accessibility practices. Because we are building services for the public, you will be expected to ensure every journey meets the Service Standard and satisfies WCAG 2.2 requirements.

  • GDS Alignment: Ensure all digital products meet the Government Digital Service (GDS) accessibility requirements and pass service assessments.
  • Rigorous Testing: Conduct expert manual testing using assistive technologies (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver) alongside automated auditing tools.
  • Consultative Feedback: Work with Product Owners and Designers to bake accessibility into the "Definition of Ready," preventing barriers before they are built.
  • Public Sector Advocacy: Navigate the unique complexities of public sector digital transformation, ensuring solutions are scalable and sustainable.
