About the company: Hegemonic Project Games is a Cyprus-based start-up board game publishing company, with a vision to positively impact society. Our goal is to inspire people to learn more about what touches their lives: the political, economic, and international dynamics of our society. We want to bring this understanding through entertainment: playing fun and educational games. Our first games have received excellent reviews and international recognition. We are now finalizing our next title, World Order, which is a strategy game focused on International Relations and International Political Economy.

Role Description: Collaborate with the development team to integrate academic theories into the game's design, ensuring a compelling and educational experience. Work closely with the team to address questions, provide clarifications, and offer guidance throughout the development process. Contribute to the writing of the Academic Booklet that will be released with the game, detailing the theories, concepts and principles of International Relations and International Political Economy. Upon completion of the project, you will be asked to write a review of the game when it is ready, with the review emphasising on the academic impact.

Role Requirements: PhD in International Relations, International Political Economy and Political Science, with a strong academic focus in Russian foreign policy and geopolitical strategy. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with the development team and provide clear, constructive feedback. Experience or demonstrated interest in merging academic concepts with game mechanics is a plus. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines within a collaborative and dynamic environment.
