Summary: The ABBYY/RPA Developer will collaborate with the ITS global team to design automation solutions, troubleshoot issues, and develop digital workflows. This role requires expertise in ABBYY FlexiCapture for document processing and a strong background in programming and SQL. The position is contract-based with an immediate start and is fully remote, adhering to an EST work schedule. The developer will also be responsible for creating technical documentation and providing user support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expert in ABBYY FlexiCapture development in project setup station and hands-on experience in document definition.
  • Strong experience in installation, configuration, and upgrade of ABBYY FlexiCapture environments.
  • Import and export projects, ensuring seamless migration across versions.
  • Define and optimize document definitions for diverse layouts and content types.
  • Hands-on batch training using Classic Training Station and FlexiLayout Studio to improve recognition accuracy.
  • Design and execute SQL-based data exports, queries, and integrations.
  • Possess deep technical expertise in understanding the "as-is" and "to-be" solutions provided by architects to prepare technical design documents.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, monitor performance, and apply best-practice optimizations.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, VB.NET, as well as experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Use ABBYY Monitoring Station/Studio to track job queues, system health, and performance metrics.
  • Create clear technical documentation and provide end-user training and support.
  • Support existing projects and implement change requirements as part of a structured change control process.
  • Able to work autonomously and in a dynamic team environment and meet the delivery timelines according to requirements defined via user stories.
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description:
As an ABBYY Developer, this person will work with the ITS global team on automation design, capabilities, troubleshooting, and digital work development and/or additional programming.

Under minimal direction, the ABBYY Developer creates and configures new datacapture models/batches on the ABBYY FlexiCapture platform using FlexiLayout Studio, monitors system health and performance via Monitoring Station, and performs enhancements on existing document definitions, scripts, and any new capture software.
