Summary: The role of a 3rd Line Desktop Support Engineer focuses on providing advanced technical support in a Wintel environment within a busy enterprise support setting. The position is primarily remote, with occasional office attendance required for onboarding and meetings. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in desktop support and a strong understanding of various technical tools and systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced technical support across end-user computing and infrastructure services.
- Manage and troubleshoot issues related to Windows 10/11 Enterprise.
- Support Active Directory (On-Prem & Azure/Entra) functionalities.
- Utilize Microsoft Intune & Autopilot for device management.
- Assist with virtual desktop environments and endpoint management tools.
- Implement and manage Group Policy and PowerShell scripts.
- Ensure security through Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Windows Firewall.
- Support remote access and VPN configurations.
- Manage Exchange Online and Microsoft Teams support.
- Provide assistance with secure print and endpoint applications.
