2D CAD Designer – LibreCAD (Technical Drafting) | Remote

Position: LibreCAD Expert

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $20 - $120/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end 2D drafting projects using LibreCAD from concept to final technical drawings.
• Create precise geometries using snaps, constraints, and structured drafting workflows.
• Set up and manage drawing units, layers, and blocks for clarity and consistency.
• Apply dimensioning, annotation, and detailing aligned with manufacturing requirements.
• Prepare and export files in standard formats such as DXF for CAM workflows.
• Communicate drafting decisions and reasoning to support AI model training.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share best practices and insights.

Requirements

• Strong experience using LibreCAD for professional 2D drafting projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and standard 2D CAD workflows.
• Solid understanding of Computer-Aided Manufacturing concepts.
• Ability to manage complete drafting projects independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in technical drawings.
• Ability to organize, annotate, and export drawings for manufacturing use.
