Summary: This role is for a 1099 Licensed Clinical Therapist providing mental health counseling services primarily to college students through TimelyCare's digital health platform. The therapist will collaborate with clients to develop treatment plans and guide them to additional services as needed. The position offers flexibility in scheduling and the opportunity to work remotely while maintaining professional boundaries. Candidates must hold an active state license in North Dakota and have relevant clinical experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide therapeutic counseling services and treatment planning to a primarily young adult population
  • Document concurrently and submit HIPAA compliant documentation using TimelyCare's electronic health record
  • Develop and submit treatment plans and progress notes following each session
  • Communicate cross functionally with other teams/departments in order to support care continuation as needed
  • Adhere to established standards for documentation quality and code of ethics
  • Work with the student/client to establish and develop treatment goals and document accordingly
  • Utilize active listening skills and evidence-based modalities (SFBT, CBT, DBT, MI, ACT) in order to build rapport, establish boundaries, and progress student/client care
  • Submit appropriate documentation in the EHR in a punctual manner
  • Prepared to adapt to the changing needs of the population served
  • Able to remain calm and maintain composure during potential high-stress scenarios
  • Respond with empathy, professionalism, and meet clients where they are at
  • Model respectful conduct with all students, peers, and support staff

Key Skills:

  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
  • Active State License(s) in North Dakota
  • Strong clinical documentation, assessment, and active listening skills
  • Experience with crisis intervention/de-escalation and safety/treatment planning
  • Background in providing services to young adults, adolescents, at-risk populations, or experience in community mental health, crisis triage, or college counseling
  • Preferred: Licensed Clinical Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology, LP/LCP)
