Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and complete migration of production environments from NSX-V to NSX-T, ensuring service continuity.
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot Layer 2/Layer 3 logical networking, DFW policies, and overlay tunnels in VMware environments.
- Optimize and stabilize L2L tunnels, ESG/Edge routing, and micro-segmentation rules.
- Collaborate closely with infrastructure and security teams to validate cutover plans, rollback procedures, and testing.
- Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and post-migration validation.
- Support temporary triage and tuning of virtual networks post-transition.
Key Skills:

Let me explain what we are doing. We are a VMware-based data center (SDDC with vCD) and moving it to a brand new SDDC with vCD in Oracle.
So we have the SDDC in Oracle deployed we cannot get it connected to the old data center and our existing data centers.
This is a fundamental networking problem and needs a networking guru who specializes in Oracle Networking and NSX-T.
We are seeking an experienced Network Virtualization Contractor with deep hands-on expertise in VMware NSX-V and NSX-T to lead and complete an urgent migration project. This is a tactical, short-term engagement focused on NSX-V to NSX-T transitions, L2/L3 network tunneling, and advanced VMware virtual networking. While Oracle Cloud experience is beneficial, it is not the primary focus of this role.
