Summary: Tryfacta is seeking an Application Developer/Programmer for a temporary contract role in Oklahoma City, OK. The position involves supporting PeopleSoft Financials modules and participating in implementation projects for state agencies. Candidates should have extensive experience with PeopleSoft Financials and be able to translate functional requirements into technical specifications. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across various teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate as a FCoE CORE Team member, taking both support and lead roles across PeopleSoft Phase II implementation projects for Oklahoma state agencies.
- Provide functional production support across all assigned PeopleSoft Financials modules: Grants, Project Costing, Contracts, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Accounts Payable, Travel & Expense, Treasury, General Ledger, Commitment Control, and Asset Management.
- Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and partner with PeopleSoft Business Analysts, System Analysts, System Integrators, Oracle, and CAR (Central Accounting and Reporting) stakeholders.
- Protect the statewide PeopleSoft configuration and adhere to statewide accounting procedures, policies, and standards.
- Identify, document, and design workflow requirements (especially within Accounts Payable and Travel & Expense) that satisfy both agency-level and statewide requirements.
- Prepare test scenarios, test scripts, training materials, configuration documents, fit/gap analyses, and development requests in accordance with state guidelines.
- Update manuals, job aids, SOPs, and other supporting documentation as needed.
- Assist with testing of patches, fixes, Financials PUM Upgrade testing, and ongoing PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF) script maintenance.
- Identify project risks/obstacles and provide thorough assessments to FCoE, IS, CAR, and other OMES leadership.
- Produce weekly status reports, project plans, and signed-off deliverables aligned to project timelines.
- Three (3) resources will collectively cover all listed modules — full-stack module coverage per individual is not required, but strong functional depth with high technical competency is expected across the team.
Key Skills:
- Skill Level III (senior) with PeopleSoft Financials, classified under Emerging Technology category per SW1025.
- Proficient with PeopleSoft Financials 9.2, PUM Image 53 (current PUM image experience strongly preferred).
- Hands-on, in-depth knowledge of: Grants, Project Costing, Contracts, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Accounts Payable, Travel & Expense, Treasury, General Ledger, Commitment Control, and Asset Management.
- Proven ability to provide functional production support for the modules above.
- Proficient with the following PeopleSoft technical toolset: Component Interfaces, SQR, Application Engine, PeopleCode, PeopleTools, SQL Developer, and BI Publisher.
- Demonstrated ability to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
- Strong written/verbal communication skills with the ability to work across agency, technical, and functional user groups.
- Experience preparing test scripts, training materials, SOPs, configuration documents, and workflow design documentation.
- Experience with PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF) maintenance and PUM upgrade testing.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST, 40 hours/week

Work Authorization & Compliance:
