Summary: The Agile Delivery Lead role is focused on guiding cross-functional engineering teams in delivering high-quality software solutions within the childhood education domain. The position requires extensive experience in Agile methodologies, stakeholder management, and a commitment to empowering teams for continuous value delivery. This is a fully remote position with a long-term contract duration of over 9 months. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile delivery roles and familiarity with engineering tools and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews) for engineering teams.
- Ensure timely and quality delivery of engineering features and platform capabilities.
- Drive sprint execution and remove blockers to enable smooth team functioning.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and Engineering Managers to align on priorities and delivery goals.
- Track team velocity, burn-down charts, and other delivery KPIs to optimize performance.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and Agile best practices.
- Act as a servant leader and coach to teams, encouraging autonomy and accountability.
- Support dependency management and risk mitigation across squads or streams.
Key Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in Agile delivery roles (Scrum Master, Delivery Manager, or similar).
- 3+ years of experience leading Agile delivery for engineering or software development teams.
- Proven experience with Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
- Strong understanding of DevOps and CI/CD processes within software engineering environments.
- Excellent facilitation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with engineering tools (Jira, Confluence, Git, Jenkins, etc.).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
