Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate and coordinate Agile Release Train (ART) ceremonies, including PI Planning, ART Syncs, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops.
- Support delivery across multiple Agile teams, ensuring alignment with programme objectives and business priorities.
- Identify, manage, and escalate programme risks, dependencies, and impediments.
- Track and report on delivery progress, ART performance metrics, and programme milestones.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote SAFe best practices across teams.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Architecture teams to ensure successful programme execution.
- Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile and SAFe principles to improve delivery effectiveness.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Release Train Engineer (RTE) within a large-scale Agile environment.
- Strong practical experience working within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Experience coordinating multiple Agile delivery teams and managing cross-team dependencies.
- Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve delivery challenges while maintaining programme momentum.
- Experience supporting large-scale transformation or complex delivery programmes.
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience working within the telecommunications (Telco) sector.
- SAFe RTE, SAFe Agilist, or related Agile certifications.
- Experience working with distributed and hybrid teams.
Contract Details
- Role: Release Train Engineer (RTE)
- Location: Hybrid working with a few days per week onsite just South of Oxford
- Contract Type: Full-Time Contract/Subcontractor
- Rate: £340 per day
- IR35 Status: Outside IR35
- Eligibility: Candidates must be UK-based and able to attend onsite meetings as required.
