Summary: Our leading Financial Services client is seeking a Reinsurance Operations Manager (Actuarial) with expertise in life, pensions, and annuities for a 6-month contract. The role involves analyzing business requirements, collaborating with stakeholders, and providing insights to improve processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in reinsurance operations and the ability to work independently. This position is based in London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse and document business requirements related to life and pensions, including annuities and reinsurance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and validate requirements.
- Develop user stories, process flows, and other documentation to support project delivery.
- Take initiative to identify and solve problems independently.
- Ensure alignment of business requirements with project goals and objectives.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve business processes and systems.
- Support project teams in the implementation of solutions.
- Perform reconciliations and ensure accuracy in all reconciliation work.
- Build models and perform calculations to support business decisions.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management.
- Communicate effectively with actuaries and other technical experts.
