Summary: The Regulatory Reporting Accountant will be integral to a UK Challenger Bank, focusing on the production, review, and submission of regulatory returns to UK regulators. This role involves leading data accuracy initiatives and supporting finance system changes while enhancing reporting capabilities. The position is a 12-month fixed-term contract, offering opportunities for professional growth in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Owning the end-to-end delivery of FINREP and Bank of England Statistical Reporting
• Coordinating data inputs, reviewing for accuracy, clearing issues, and driving sign-off
• Supporting UAT testing for finance systems changes and regulatory reporting projects
• Leading the resolution of data quality issues to ensure accurate, timely reporting
• Supporting ad-hoc regulatory tasks such as QIS, impact assessments, and analysis
• Continuously improving reconciliation, governance, and control processes

Key Skills:

• A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Proven experience in regulatory reporting within a banking or financial services environment
• Strong understanding of banking products and regulatory frameworks
• Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail
• A proactive mindset with the ability to adapt, lead by example, and support team development
