Summary: The role of Regulatory Business Analyst involves joining a regulatory change programme within the Investment Banking division of a leading global financial institution. The position requires a strong background in business analysis, particularly in regulatory frameworks such as MiFID II and PRIIPs. The analyst will work closely with various stakeholders, including Front Office Trading, Legal, and Compliance teams, to ensure effective implementation and transition to business-as-usual operations. This is a contract role based in London with a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience as a Business Analyst within Investment Banking.
- Experience implementing MiFID II product governance/Investor protection regulatory frameworks.
- Knowledge of PRIIPs regulations.
- Experience delivering business analysis within regulatory programmes, from legal interpretation through to implementation and BAU transition.
- Experience working with Business stakeholders (including Front Office Trading & Sales), Legal, and Compliance teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including providing updates to project or programme managers and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
