Registered Mental Health Nurse (Bank)

Location: Brookhaven & The Hamptons (Mental Health Rehabilitation)

Contract Type: Bank (0-hour contract) - flexible hours to suit you

Shift Pattern: 12-hour shifts, 7:45am-7:45pm or 7:45pm-7:45am (no fixed rota)

Pay Rate: £21.80 - Days or £22.35 - Nights (inclusive of (12.07% holiday uplift)

Active Pathways is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team at Brookhaven & The Hamptons , located in Bamber Bridge , close to Preston. About The Role:

As a Bank Nurse , you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to individuals with enduring mental health needs. You'll be responsible for supporting recovery, promoting independence and ensuring the safety and well-being of the people we support throughout the night. Your duties will include creating care plans, administering medication, monitoring mental and physical health, and responding calmly and effectively to any challenges that arise. You'll work as part of a multidisciplinary team and contribute to a supportive and recovery-focused environment.

About Brookhaven And The Hamptons

Brookhaven, located in Bamber Bridge, is a 23-bed, mixed-gender open rehabilitation service for adults aged 18 and over. The service supports individuals with enduring mental health needs to build confidence and skills through structured routines and meaningful community connections, including leisure, education and vocational activities. Next door is The Hamptons, a 14-bed purpose-built inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Preston, Lancashire. The Hamptons provides a step-down service for men transitioning from secure or PICU environments. The team adopts a recovery model approach to support individuals with complex mental health conditions, offering longer-term treatment and structured support within a controlled setting.
