Summary: The Registered Care Manager at Helping Hands Home Care will oversee the daily operations of a branch, ensuring high standards of care while managing staff and business growth. This role combines the autonomy of running a domiciliary care company with the support of a well-established brand. Candidates should possess a level 5 NVQ in Management in care or be willing to obtain it, along with relevant management experience in the care sector. The position is a fixed-term contract for 12 months based in Barnet, Hertfordshire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day management of the branch to ensure efficiency and profitability while providing high-quality care.
- Holding the CQC/CIW registration for the branch and ensuring compliance with guidelines.
- Recruiting and guiding new team members through the recruitment process to maintain and grow carer numbers.
- Seeking new business opportunities to support the commercial growth of the branch.
- Regularly reviewing branch operations to meet customer needs effectively.
- Communicating and implementing policies and procedures within the branch.
- Supporting staff and carers with their training and development.
Key Skills:
- Level 5 NVQ in Management in care or willingness to achieve it.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in line with CQC/CIW guidance.
- Experience working within the care sector at a management level.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
