Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage professional Building Control staff to deliver services on behalf of the Local Authority.
• Support the Head of Building Control in delivering cost-effective, customer-focused services.
• Generate new work and income to sustain the Building Control service.
• Manage non-fee earning works, including emergency planning and dangerous structure services.
• Deliver fee earning activities such as consultancy services, pre-application services, and Fire Risk Assessments.

• Professionally qualified with BSR Registration Class 2A.
