Summary: This role involves serving as an expert adviser within the Government's initiative to enhance educational standards in the East Midlands. The adviser will collaborate with senior civil servants and educational leaders to implement strategies for school improvement, particularly in underperforming institutions. The position requires building strong professional relationships and facilitating sector-led improvement efforts across various educational bodies. The adviser will also contribute to the development of tailored support packages for schools in need.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing strong professional relationships with schools, trusts, dioceses, and local authorities to drive improvements.
• Contributing to the strategic priorities for the region by collaborating with local authorities and educational institutions.
• Facilitating and leading the dissemination of best practices and networking opportunities.
• Commissioning bespoke support packages from high-quality educational organizations to assist schools in need.
• Monitoring school improvement to ensure it is rapid, embedded, and sustained.
