Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial reporting and audit coordination across multiple European entities
  • Prepare and review statutory accounts in collaboration with external advisors
  • Support corporation tax submissions and ensure timely payments
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and forecasting
  • Oversee fixed asset accounting and leasing journal entries across the region
  • Partner with Group Finance and Treasury on intercompany and holding company transactions
  • Conduct balance sheet reviews and ensure compliance with internal controls
  • Provide data and insights to support UK and EMEA tax filings
  • Contribute to finance transformation initiatives, including ERP system improvements
  • Supervise and support a junior team member, fostering development and collaboration

Key Skills:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CA(SA), CAANZ)
  • Strong IFRS experience including IFRS9 and IFRS16
  • Experience in financial reporting and audit, ideally across UK and European entities
  • Comfortable working with ERP systems (SAP or similar) and consolidation tools
  • Strong communicator with a proactive, collaborative approach

Salary (Rate): £60,000.00 yearly

We’re working with a growing, global organisation to recruit a Regional Finance Lead for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to broaden their international experience and take ownership of financial reporting and compliance across multiple European markets. As Regional Finance Lead, you’ll play a key role in supporting statutory reporting, audit coordination, and tax compliance across the EMEA region. You’ll work closely with group functions and external advisors to ensure accurate reporting and strong financial governance.
