Key Responsibilities:
- Business partner with Regional Sales teams to provide performance management and analysis.
- Support commercial decision-making related to rent events and capex.
- Collaborate with the Regional teams and the wider Star Finance team to improve processes.
- Identify and shape opportunities and risks to influence business results.
- Deliver stretching cost-saving targets.
- Engage with stakeholders to develop relationships and ensure effective communication.
- Travel to various UK-based teams as required.

About The Role
Reporting to the Regional Finance Manager you’ll business partner two of our Regional Sales teams. You’ll provide first-class performance management together with added value analysis and insight to support commercial decision-making in relation to rent events and capex. You’ll be confident working within a regulated industry and will work well with the Regional teams and the wider Star Finance team to improve processes and ensure consistency in our approach. This role is about understanding numbers and working with business partners to find options and solutions. Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a qualified accountant, you’ll be able to draw on your experience of creating value collaboratively with your business partners, your pro-active and positive attitude will allow you to influence stakeholders and navigate robustly through a fluid and fast-moving commercial environment.
If You Are commercially astute with an ability to identify & shape opportunities / risks and influence behaviour & decisions to improve business results
Have a track record of setting and delivering stretching cost saving targets
Have excellent Excel skills
Are an effective communicator, able to develop relationships and work with a wide range of stakeholders
Have excellent analytical skills with an enquiring mindset
Are motivated by continuous improvement and challenging the status quo

This role will cover several UK based teams, so semi-regular travel will be required. We embrace learning and growth, and we anticipate there is scope to develop in this role. You’re also likely to bring experiences to this role that are not listed above – as long as you have a thirst for learning and development, not every box needs to be ticked regarding skillsets.
