Summary: We are seeking an experienced Red Hat Linux Administrator to lead the migration of our Linux infrastructure from CentOS to Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). This role requires deep technical expertise in Linux system administration, automation, and troubleshooting, with a focus on ensuring a seamless transition and minimal downtime. The ideal candidate will have hands-on migration experience, strong scripting abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high system availability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and manage the migration of CentOS servers to RHEL.
  • Install, configure, and maintain RHEL systems in both physical and virtualized environments.
  • Monitor and tune system performance to ensure optimal availability and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline deployments and configurations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enforce security, compliance, and operational best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve OS, networking, and storage-related issues.
  • Manage system backups, patching, and upgrades.
  • Document migration plans, system configurations, and processes.
  • Support and maintain Red Hat tools (e.g., Satellite, subscription management).
