On behalf of The Department for Transport, we are looking for a Recruitment Support - (Inside IR35) for a 5 month contract working on a hybrid basis with 3 days per week ideally in the Nottingham office. Other locations which may be available include Newcastle upon Tyne or Bristol

The Recruitment Support is responsible for the smooth running of Digital Recruitment campaigns supporting a range of stakeholders including Hiring Managers and 3rd party providers.
The role holder will proactively support the Digital Recruitment team working collaboratively to ensure all necessary admin tasks have been completed to ensure the smooth and efficient running of recruitment campaigns.
As a Recruitment Support - (Inside IR35) , your main responsibilities will be:
- Support Digital recruitment activities, completing necessary paperwork and recruitment related tasks in a timely manner e.g. downloading applications, issuing results to candidates, booking and facilitating interviews.
- Monitor and proactively manage all pre-employment checks to ensure they are completed as efficiently as possible e.g. DBS checks, right to work checks etc
- Contact candidates to collect documents, book interviews or support through the online pre-employment checking process
- Update necessary trackers and stakeholders
- Participate in Digital Recruitment team meetings, project and delivery reviews, proactively managing the team s task management board
- Facilitate ad-hoc meetings as requested by team members
- Familiarise self with the team objectives and establish processes to track team progress against these objectives.
- Design, manage and maintain the Digital team s risk and issues log
- Understand the Digital team Continuity Plan in place and that it is reviewed on a regular basis
- Provide support to the Digital Recruitment team and the wider Digital Services & Technology directorate as required.
- Manage self and workload, provide regular performance and status updates to the Digital Resourcing Team Manager
- Host virtual information sessions, some which may be planned out of hours
- Work with Digital to ensure social media campaigns are launched in a timely manner to support recruitment
- Work to raise the profile of DVSA Digital through use of social media, headhunting and attending events
- Works with the resourcing manager and the Digital Hub to ensure that recruitment processes are adhered to
- Create social media content to promote Digital roles, using software such as Photoshop
- Support the Digital recruitment team when needed with the running of campaigns and project work
- Potential support of wider business recruitment in peak times
- Daily management of Recruitment inbox
- Co-ordinate meetings ensuring that all strategic decisions are bought to this key meeting in a timely and appropriate manner. Collate the papers, work with the chair to set the agendas as appropriate, maintain a forward plan of decisions to be made, ensure that actions are followed up, take minutes in the meetings and ensure that decisions are communicated appropriately after the meetings.
- Co-ordinate ad-hoc decision meetings as required. Ensuring an effective audit trail, making use of tools as appropriate
- Plan and coordinate Digital Recruitment team communications.
- Draft and provide team and service updates for wider Digital communications.
- Works closely with all members of the Digital Recruitment team, key stakeholders, and line managers to provide expert administrative coordination and support
Essential:
- Recruitment Support experience i.e. Managing inbox / mailbox / Supporting Recruitment Managers
- Able to work proactively and complete tasks efficiently
- Experience of dealing with a range of stakeholders in a busy environment
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Experience of using office IT including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
