The Vacancy Recruitment Manager

Location : Redhill, Swansea, Bradford on Avon, Chester, Birmingham

Fixed term basis – 14 months

Start date August 2025

Job Description Purpose Responsible for developing, driving and delivering the strategy for sourcing, attracting, evaluating and placing suitably qualified candidates across the Binnies UK & Australia business.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage up to 300 vacancies at one time (depending on discipline, level, salary, specialism i.e. ‘difficult to fill roles’) key success factors may be speed of response and roles fill for some contingent and sub-contract roles.
  • The need to balance fast paced transactional recruitment and the drive to enhance the Talent Acquisitional processes.
  • Directly manage and develop team members situated remotely across the UK
  • Use the recruitment portal (recruitment+) to launch all vacancies and manage the candidate journey.
  • Be an ambassador for the portal and encourage effective interaction and use by hiring managers and internal recruiters
  • Promote best practice such as interviewing standards, ensuring that these are adhered to by the recruitment team and recruiting managers.
  • Develop and utilise a variety of Talent Acquisition strategies.
  • Design successful recruitment campaigns to fill openings and ensure cost effective, creative and strategic candidate sourcing plans.
  • Partner with Hiring Managers and Stakeholders, facilitating discussions to understand hiring needs, document requirements and develop subsequent recruitment strategies.
  • Proactively work with other disciplines in Binnies to find new ways to promote Binnies and attract potential candidates.
  • Achieve KPI targets set for Recruitment.
  • Develop and agree with the business SLAs for the recruitment team as well as hiring managers
  • Adhere to all compliance requirements as set out by the central RSK HR compliance team, particularly in relation to how information is shared and how data is collected and stored
  • Manage IR35 compliance by ensuring Binnies policy is to adhered to when agency/contract staff are appointed, maintaining records of PAYE status and ensuring regular audits are conducted
  • Input to monthly board report and provide regular recruitment data for Group Head of Recruitment as requested
  • Generate reports for the business as requested regarding recruitment detail
  • Talent Acquisition Establish talent acquisition networks for attracting talent for the future roles in the business
  • Champion Employer Branding and incorporate appropriate elements into the business processes
  • Proactively identify, source and recruit candidates utilising a variety of means, including but not limited to networking, LinkedIn Groups, professional forums, internet research, direct sourcing, cold-calling, employee referrals and professional organisations
  • Strategically develop and manage candidate sources, building up talent pools and pipelines
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with both candidates and sources to foster and build on an ongoing pipeline of talent
  • People Strategy Drive and deliver the Binnies Equality, Diversity and Inclusion strategy
  • Ensure role/social profiles and selection criteria are updated to encompass core elements of competencies needed for roles and for embedding company cultural change in line with our ENGAGED Programme World Class Standards and Compliance
  • Track vacancies to ensure necessary service levels are optimised internally and externally, and time and cost deliverables are met
  • Gather job market analysis and mine knowledge to support recruitment strategy, process and activity.
  • Gather and provide competitive data on competitors, business and talent
  • Ensure compliance in the Recruitment Processes, educating on the implications of the Equality Act.
  • Ensure that robust internal processes are implemented and maintained with respects to document processing and storage in compliance with the Company’s data protection policies, GDPR etc.
  • Take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality
  • Undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required, and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role
