As a Recruitment Consultant - Public Sector Finance Specialist , you will:

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle in Contract Finance within the Public Sector Space in London, dealing with the Local Authorities and Central Government.
  • Build and deepen strategic relationships with clients, providing expert recruitment advice to ensure the best candidate matches for Contract Finance roles in the Public Sector space.
  • Source top-tier Contract Finance candidates , including roles such as Management Accountants, Finance Business Partners and Heads of Finance.
  • Leverage Michael Page's market-leading resources , networks, and industry insights to attract candidates and support clients effectively.
  • Actively develop and build new relationships across the Public Sector space in London, gaining a deeper understanding of their hiring needs, ensuring strong, long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate within a highly successful team , with many opportunities to pass work and support each other in a warm desk environment.
  • Proactively identify and act on business development opportunities within the national remit.

Profile

We're looking for individuals with:

  • 18 months+ experience in 360 recruitment, preferably within a commercial setting in the public sector, with a proven track record of driving new business opportunities, building long-term relationships and delivering exceptional results.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders, including Group Treasurers and CFOs.
  • A proactive, consultative approach to client acquisition and account management.
  • The ability to attract and engage top Public Sector talent.
  • Self-motivation, resilience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
