About The Role Would you like to play a key role in supporting the University to successfully recruit new staff to join its diverse workforce? If you are a confident and self-motivated individual who would like to join a responsive and effective recruitment team, we would like to hear from you. Although previous administration experience is an advantage, we are looking for motivated individuals who are keen and willing to learn new skills and systems. You will be able to demonstrate exceptional communication skills both written and verbal, have a good eye for detail, be highly organised with a flexible approach, and the ability to work to tight deadlines and manage a large workload. Naturally, you will be able to build and maintain relationships with a variety of people across the University while keeping candidates informed on the progress of their application. The job is varied and fast-paced. You will deal with vacancies to recruit contractual or casual staff. You will place adverts, invite applicants to interview and support successful candidates through offer stage, preparing and issuing contracts. You will also be able to demonstrate excellent IT skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook. We will provide training on our internal systems, including our online e-Recruit system. What We Offer Our HR department works across Highfield Campus and One Guildhall Square, but your main work location will be One Guildhall Square. Both offices have easy access to public transport, restaurants, coffee shops and a University gym. There will also be an opportunity to work flexibly from home, but you will be required to come into the office at least once a week.
