Hays HR are delighted to be partnering with a growing and successful organisation in the Harrogate area to recruit an experienced Recruiter on a temporary basis.
Due to a period of significant business expansion, our client is experiencing increased recruitment activity and requires additional support to manage a high volume of hiring across multiple vacancies.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced and collaborative team, where you will play a key role in supporting the organisation's growth plans. The assignment is initially expected to run until Christmas, with the potential for extension.
Your New Role
Working as part of an established recruitment team, you will take responsibility for managing a busy recruitment workload, ensuring vacancies are filled efficiently while delivering a positive candidate experience.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing high-volume recruitment activity across multiple vacancies
- Screening applications and coordinating interviews
- Liaising with hiring managers and candidates throughout the recruitment process
- Maintaining accurate candidate records using the organisation's Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Undertaking and monitoring pre-employment checks
- Supporting onboarding activities for successful candidates
- Ensuring all recruitment processes are completed in line with company policies and compliance requirements
- Providing regular recruitment updates and reporting where required
What You'll Need to Succeed: To be successful in this role, you must be able to demonstrate:

- Recent experience of at least 12 months managing high-volume recruitment campaigns
- Previous experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Experience undertaking and coordinating pre-employment checks
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive and customer-focused approach
What You'll Get in Return
