Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the incoming and outgoing post, including opening and franking the post and collecting and delivering of DX.
  • Assisting lawyers and colleagues with photocopying, scanning and printing of documents.
  • Meeting and greeting visitors to the Bristol office and providing an excellent front of house service and answering incoming calls.
  • Co-ordinating and booking meeting rooms, including the setting up and clearing of meeting rooms for seminars and meetings and arranging and setting up of refreshments.
  • Maintaining and ordering stationery supplies.

Key Skills:

  • Previous experience in a professional services administrative support role.
  • Grade C or above in Maths and English at GCSE (or equivalent).
  • Experience of working under regulatory compliance and file maintenance procedures is desirable.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with a methodical approach towards workloads and an ability to work under pressure.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.) and using data management systems.
  • Excellent client focus and commitment to deliver excellent service.
  • Effective communicator at all levels (both written and verbal).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - ability to form great relations with people at all levels in the organisation and external parties and clients.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Ability to work within a team.
  • Effective problem-solving skills, demonstrate initiative and be an innovative thinker.

What sort of work? Right now, we have an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist and Office Assistant to join our Bristol office on a 12-month fixed term contract for 18 hours per week. In this role you will provide efficient and effective front of house service for the Bristol office and administrative support as part of the Support Hub. This will include:

Why this team? Our Operational Services team keeps our offices running. The team plays a key role in delivering a first-class service to our clients when they visit our offices, maintains our shared working spaces and supports the lawyers in completing their day-to-day activities. The team is located across our different office locations and the team members regularly interact with colleagues at every level across the Firm.
