Summary: We are seeking a skilled ReactJS Developer to enhance the core functionality of internal applications for a prestigious investment client in London. The role involves collaborating with team members to deliver new features while ensuring high performance and maintainability of the applications. This is a hybrid position on a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in React and JavaScript development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain user interfaces for our suite of desktop applications using React and JavaScript.
- Develop and enhance our UI framework and shared component libraries to promote code reusability and maintainability.
- Help grow and maintain the shared app framework and component library, ensuring a consistent and intuitive UX across the suite of apps and work on new business-facing deliverables.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the Front End applications.
Key Skills:
- Solid understanding of core JavaScript concepts (ES6+).
- Proven experience in developing user interfaces with React.
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
- Strong proficiency in CSS, including experience with CSS Modules for component styling.
- Experience with Front End build tools and workflows (eg, Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn).
- Familiarity with state management libraries and patterns (eg, Redux).
- Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks (eg, Jest, React Testing Library).
