Our client, a large energy trading organisation are looking for a strong Front End developer, one with a vast amount of experience using Svelte/React & Typescript to contribute to the build out of a live Front Office business application. As a product developer you will have the opportunity to design, develop and maintain applications using modern front - end technologies including React and Svelte UI development tools, Python, API's including REST and/or GraphQL. Kafta is in use for message queues and Postgres as open-source relational database management system. This post trade platform is based on AWS build out so experience with AWS cloud services such as S3, ECS and Appsync is preferred.
The successful candidate will work closely with all system owners and business units and have the opportunity to produce high level technical designs and liaise with relevant group infrastructure, cloud, security and network teams to ensure it fits with architectural patterns and practices. You will use continuous delivery pipelines to release new features and functionality
In order to qualify for this role you will need to demonstrate vast current use of React or Svelte UI development tools. You will have experience in commodities trading or a similar financially based organisation. Commercial programming experience with Python is desirable. Preference will be given to candidates that are well versed with AWS cloud services.
