React Native Developer

Summary: The role of React Native Developer involves joining a significant digital program within a large-scale insurance provider. The position requires hands-on experience and the ability to take ownership of features while effectively communicating with engineering and stakeholder teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in React Native and Node.js, along with experience in the insurance domain. This is a hybrid role based in London with an immediate start for a duration of six months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of feature delivery end-to-end.
• Contribute to technical improvements and design.
• Communicate ideas clearly across engineering and stakeholder teams.
• Develop applications using React Native.
• Collaborate with back-end systems using Node.js.

Key Skills:

• Strong experience with React Native.
• Solid back-end experience with Node.js.
• Insurance domain experience.
• Proven ability to own feature delivery end-to-end.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with TanStack Query (desirable).
• Familiarity with NestJS (desirable).
• Integration testing experience (ideally Detox or Appium) (desirable).
• Exposure to system/service design (desirable).

Salary (Rate): £575 daily
