Summary: The React Native Developer role involves driving the development of high-performing, secure mobile applications for both iOS and Android on a contract basis. The position requires collaboration with designers and backend teams to build responsive and accessible apps. The developer will lead mobile app development using React Native, Expo, and TypeScript, while also implementing secure features and debugging native builds. This role is based in Knutsford and requires two days of onsite work per week until the end of 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead mobile app development with React Native, Expo, and TypeScript
  • Integrate custom data visualisations using D3 and SVGs
  • Build responsive UIs with Storybook and Flexbox, collaborating closely with designers in Figma
  • Debug native builds (Xcode, Gradle) and patch JS/native code where needed
  • Implement secure features (biometric encryption, root detection, secure content embedding)
  • Work with Azure B2C or similar OAuth identity providers for secure integrations
  • Write and maintain unit tests, integrating with GitHub/Azure DevOps

Key Skills:

  • Strong experience with React Native & Expo
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and mobile app performance optimization

We’re looking for a skilled React Native Developer to join our team on a contract basis, driving the development of high-performing, secure mobile applications for both iOS and Android.
