Summary: The React Native Developer role is a contract position based in Knutsford, requiring two days of on-site work per week. The developer will be responsible for creating high-performing mobile applications for iOS and Android, collaborating with designers and backend teams to ensure responsive and secure app development. Key tasks include leading mobile app development, integrating data visualizations, and implementing security features.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead mobile app development with React Native, Expo, and TypeScript
  • Integrate custom data visualisations using D3 and SVGs
  • Build responsive UIs with Storybook and Flexbox, collaborating closely with designers in Figma
  • Debug native builds (Xcode, Gradle) and patch JS/native code where needed
  • Implement secure features (biometric encryption, root detection, secure content embedding)
  • Work with Azure B2C or similar OAuth identity providers for secure integrations
  • Write and maintain unit tests, integrating with GitHub/Azure DevOps

Key Skills:

  • Strong experience with React Native & Expo
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and mobile app performance optimization
  • Hands-on experience with native build debugging (Xcode/Gradle)
  • Knowledge of security and accessibility best practices
  • Familiarity with cloud identity providers (Azure B2C, OAuth)

We’re looking for a skilled React Native Developer to join our team on a contract basis, driving the development of high-performing, secure mobile applications for both iOS and Android. You’ll play a key role in building responsive, accessible, and secure apps while collaborating with designers and backend teams.
