React Developer

Summary: The Software Developer role focuses on creating high-quality front-end web applications using React.js and NextJS, while also supporting server-side rendered applications with AWS Lambda. Candidates should possess solid experience in React/Redux and a strong understanding of development best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create front-end web applications using React.js and NextJS.
• Support and develop server-side rendered web applications utilizing AWS Lambda.
• Write resilient code that is continuously tested and deployed.
• Conduct end-to-end testing of front-end applications.
• Collaborate within a self-organising Agile team on high-traffic applications.
• Contribute to the team's technical direction and process improvements.
• Ensure code aligns with technical strategy focusing on performance, resilience, and security.

Key Skills:

• Solid commercial experience in React/Redux development.
• Understanding of development best practices such as TDD, CI, and CD.
• Experience with CI tools (Jenkins, Concourse) and testing frameworks.
• Experience in optimizing web applications for performance, security, and resilience.
• Ability to coach and mentor junior team members.
• Desirable experience with TypeScript, NodeJS, NextJS, GraphQL, and Cypress.
• Knowledge of AWS Lambdas.
