RD&T Software Engineer Job Description:
- Develop and maintain software tools for tolerance analysis, variation simulation, and robust design, enabling engineers to evaluate product performance under real-world variability.
- Implement statistical models and algorithms (e.g., Monte Carlo simulation, Design of Experiments) to analyse variation, predict risk, and support data-driven design decisions.
- Integrate RD&T solutions with CAD and PLM systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and quality engineering to translate requirements into scalable and user-friendly software solutions.
- Create data visualisations and reporting tools to communicate analysis results, highlight key risks, and support robust design practices across the product lifecycle.
