Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Building Control Service in delivering the Building Control function throughout North Yorkshire.
- Perform specialist assessments of building plans and conduct site inspections to verify compliance with Building Regulations and the Building Act 1984.
- Manage a variety of construction projects and influence the resolution of compliance issues.
- Engage in enforcement actions and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Handle reports of dangerous structures and administer various applications and notices.
