This is a fantastic Rancher Kubernetes SME contract opportunity with a leading tech company.

The Rancher Kubernetes Architect is mainly Remote (UK based) with occasional visits to sites in Abu Dhabi (travel expenses paid for by client)

The Rancher Kubernetes SME contract is Outside IR35.

Previous in depth Rancher experience is essential for this role, please do not apply if you have not worked with it before.

As Rancher Kubernetes SME you will act as the technical authority for the migration of AWS Outposts to Rancher. Working closely with 3rd party and internal teams the Rancher Kubernetes SME will be responsible for initial scoping and designs for a banking related migration project. As Rancher Kubernetes SME strong design experience with Rancher, Kubernetes, Helm, CI/CD, Logs is essential with Banking and ideally Consulting being preferred. Any hands on experience would also be suitable with regards to DevOps, Build and Support etc. with previous experience with AWS (particularly AWS Outposts) being preferred. Once the initial designs are in place the Rancher SME would stay close to the project working closely with build and support teams, designing next phases as well as monitoring and maintenance best practices.
