RAF NEXUS - Requirements Manager

Summary: The RAF NEXUS - Requirements Manager role involves overseeing user requirements in accordance with NEXUS contracts, ensuring compliance and providing expert advice to the delivery team. The position requires attendance at weekly senior leadership meetings and regular updates to the Programme Director. The role is hybrid, requiring two days per week on-site at RAF High Wycombe, MOD Corsham, or Farnborough. A minimum of SC clearance is required, with a preference for DV or Sole UK National status.

Key Responsibilities:

• RAF Cyber Space/Comms experience highly desirable.
• Responsible for ensuring the user requirements are maintained iaw NEXUS contracts.
• Review all acceptance documents for completeness and applicability of requirements set.
• Provide operator advice to the delivery team and contractor as required.
• Ensure the Programme Director is regularly updated iaw with Programme reporting cycles.
• Attend SLT on a weekly basis and provide feedback to the Programme Director.
• Act as a focal point and SME for requirements-based advice.
• Ensure the MoD receives value for money in any amendments to the requirements.
• Review contractors' evidence in meeting the requirements and leading the DT subject matter expert reviewers in the commissioning process.
• Support the PgD in driving the implementation of continuous improvement and good practice.
• Identify risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies associated with requirements.

Key Skills:

• RAF Cyber Space/Comms experience.
• Experience in managing user requirements.
• Ability to review acceptance documents.
• Strong communication skills for providing operator advice.
• Experience in Programme reporting cycles.
• Ability to act as a focal point and SME.
• Understanding of value for money principles.
