Summary: The Race & Test Travel Coordinator will manage and administer travel and accommodation services for the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team, ensuring cost-effective solutions that align with corporate and competitive objectives. This role involves coordinating travel itineraries, managing event logistics, and supporting the Travel Manager and team. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. This position is a 9-month fixed-term contract based in Brackley, UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinate the management of events including races, tests, filming days, and demonstrations.
- Produce and publish travel itineraries, including welcome letters and E-Tickets.
- Complete flight manifests and rooming lists, submitting them to airlines and hotels respectively.
- Organize ground transfers in the UK and overseas.
- Work with Mercedes-AMG to manage the allocation and use of supplied vehicles.
- Organize subsistence allowances for team members post-event.
- Check, reconcile, and complete the administrative process for all invoices.
- Ensure compliance with the company’s Travel Policy.
- Assist the MBM Travel Manager and the Travel team as needed.
- Maintain records and information for the smooth operation of the Travel department.
Key Skills:
- Experience with SAP is desirable.
- Experience in travel administration in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced Excel and numeracy skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-driven and proactive with a positive attitude.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels.
