Summary: A Senior Quantity Surveyor is needed for a Co. Antrim based Fitout company within the manufacturing division. The role involves managing the quantity surveying function on-site, focusing on achieving commercial targets and preparing project budgets. Candidates should have a degree and at least 5 years of experience in a contracting or PQS environment, preferably with Fitout, Joinery, or Manufacturing experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive successful tender documents from the Commercial Department
- Scrutinise cost breakdowns for every manufacture item required
- Preparation of project budget for joinery workshop
- Value and agree the cost of any variations
- Prepare cost, value and reconciliation monthly reports on each assigned project
- Identify labour, material requirements and source and obtain quotations where applicable
- Liaise with purchasing / buying for specialist providers
- Attend internal hand-over meetings
- Provide feedback information to the Commercial Department regarding tender values vs. actual costs
- Undertake any other duties and projects allocated, which are within the individual's sphere of Knowledge, experience or competency
Key Skills:
- Degree qualified Quantity Surveyor
- Minimum of 5 years experience within a contracting or PQS environment

A Co. Antrim based Fitout company has a new opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join within the manufacturing division. Based on site full-time, no travel outside of NI is expected with the role. Managing and directing the quantity surveying function for the factory in order to attain commercial targets, you will be responsible for the following:
- Receive successful tender documents from the Commercial Department
- Scrutinise cost breakdowns for every manufacture item required
- Preparation of project budget for joinery workshop
- Value and agree the cost of any variations
- Prepare cost, value and reconciliation monthly reports on each assigned project
- With regards to estimate build up costs for each element of the work, identify labour, material requirements and source and obtain quotations where applicable.
- Liaise with purchasing / buying for specialist providers
- Attend internal hand-over meetings
- Provide feedback information to the Commercial Department regarding tender values vs. actual costs
- Undertake any other duties and projects allocated, which are within the individual's sphere of Knowledge, experience or competency
