Summary: The role of Freelance Quantity Surveyor involves managing cost-related aspects of a high-rise residential development in Leeds. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all cost-related aspects of the high-rise scheme from procurement through to final accounts.
- Prepare and assess subcontractor payments, variations, and valuations.
- Support monthly cost reporting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Liaise with site teams, design consultants, and the client to ensure commercial objectives are met.
- Provide accurate cost advice and contribute to value engineering and risk management strategies.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on high-rise residential or commercial projects.
- Strong working knowledge of JCT contracts and construction processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple workstreams.
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Immediate availability preferred.
