G2 are currently looking for a range of QS/Commercial Specialists to join our client working on water framework projects – Main Contractor background for a water client based between Sussex and Kent, multiple sites. The clients central work site is Brighton, with work from home and at various sites throughout the framework. The work will be focused on packages for major water treatment plant projects, working for the main contractor through a consultancy. NEC3/NEC4. This is on a freelance basis, outside of IR35.
Freelance Opportunity: Southern Region – Trainee QS, QS, Senior QS & MQS roles
DURATION: Rolling 12 Month Contract – Outside of IR35
LOCATION: Brighton/Site Based – Four days onsite / One Remote per week
PAYROLL: Outside of IR35 / Ltd Company
· 3 - 20+ years experience (Role dependent)
· Ideally utilities, water or treatment plant projects – utility frameworks
· CAPEX OR OPEX Projects
· Civils, Mechanical or Electrical package understanding
· NEC3/NEC4 contracts experience
· Happy with site based working
The ideal candidate will have working history with engineering, maintenance or construction projects, ideally within the water sector. They will consider candidates with other experience in large utility frameworks. They require experience with either NEC3/NEC4 contracts, this is the contract model of the framework. The client has roles through all skill and experience levels, they have the opportunity for successful candidates to interview in July and start new roles as soon as August or September.
