Summary: The role of Quality Technician involves supervising the execution of wind farm turbine foundations and conducting quality reviews of components on-site. Candidates should possess an engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, and have experience in renewable energy. The position requires reporting to the Client Quality Department and managing non-conformities throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the execution of the foundations of the turbines of the wind farm.
  • Quality review of main components when arriving to site.
  • Quality review of minor components at the site warehouse.
  • Creation of punch items.
  • Drafting and management of non-conformities.
  • Audit the execution of the works.
  • Quality review of the complete WTG when finished, according to Nordex standards.
  • Report to the Client Quality Department the progress of the project.

Key Skills:

  • Engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Vocational Education (FP) might be accepted.
  • PPEs for working at heights.
  • PPEs according to RD614/2001, EN50110-1 or equivalent for local regulations.
  • Individual car (in compliance with local regulations, in and out of the construction site).

  • Certificates of training in working at height (GWO or similar).

About the Company We are urgently looking to onboard Quality Technicians for upcoming projects for our global client across the UK & Ireland.

About the Role The work will be performed by a qualified technician/s, with experience in renewable energy with Engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Vocational Education (FP) might be accepted.
