Summary: The role of Quality Technician involves supervising the execution of wind farm turbine foundations and conducting quality reviews of components on-site. Candidates should possess an engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, and have experience in renewable energy. The position requires reporting to the Client Quality Department and managing non-conformities throughout the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the execution of the foundations of the turbines of the wind farm.
- Quality review of main components when arriving to site.
- Quality review of minor components at the site warehouse.
- Creation of punch items.
- Drafting and management of non-conformities.
- Audit the execution of the works.
- Quality review of the complete WTG when finished, according to Nordex standards.
- Report to the Client Quality Department the progress of the project.
Key Skills:
- Engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Vocational Education (FP) might be accepted.
- PPEs for working at heights.
- PPEs according to RD614/2001, EN50110-1 or equivalent for local regulations.
- Individual car (in compliance with local regulations, in and out of the construction site).
- Laptop and smartphone.
- Certificates of training in working at height (GWO or similar).
- Specific trainings: GWO BST, Electrical Risk training, Corresponding Service Lift training, Avanti fall arrester certification.
