Summary: The Quality Records Coordinator role at NG Bailey involves managing and coordinating Life Time Quality Records (LTQR) deliverables for the Hinkley Point C project in Bridgwater, Somerset. Key Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for assigned MDT area and be the main point of contact for all area LTQR deliverables.
- Manage and support assigned area LTQR technicians to capture and progress area relevant records in accordance with project deadlines.
- Address any upcoming issues promptly in line with MEH contractual requirements.
- Liaise with Site Wide Records Discipline Leads to progress specific area LTQR Deliverables on time.
- Complete records against area scope and LOD management.
- Monitor and offer continuous support to assigned area technicians to ensure performance and targets are met.
- Support with training and knowledge sharing amongst the team.
- Track area progress and create reports for management review.
Key Skills:
- Excellent IT skills and experience using document management systems.
- Experience handling LTQRs, EESRs, or other specific construction/engineering reports.
- Proven experience of interaction and resolving issues with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Experience working in a quality assurance/control environment within the nuclear industry or other relevant safety critical industry.
- Qualifications in an Engineering discipline, ONC / HNC / HND (or equivalent experience) beneficial but not mandatory.

NG Bailey are proud to be involved in the Hinkley Point C project based in Bridgwater , Somerset. This is the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in Britain providing zero-carbon electricity for around six million homes. NG Bailey , the UK’s leading independent engineering and services business, are proud to be part of the MEH Alliance , a joint venture to deliver the mechanical, electrical and HVAC installation for the project.
As part of recent growth on this project, we are actively recruiting for a Completions orientated Quality Records Area Co-ordinator interfacing with MEH Multi-Disciplinary Teams and relevant stakeholders to capture & process Area discipline type Life Time Quality Records (LTQR) deliverables on time and in line with project deadlines ensuring completion and delivery of associated scope LTQR deliverables to support End of Erection Status Reports (EESR).
Some of the key deliverables in this role will include:
- Take responsibility of assigned MDT area and be the main point of contact for all area LTQR deliverables.
- Manage & support assigned area LTQR technicians to capture & progress area relevant records in accordance with project deadlines to meet handover specifications to support End of Erection Status Report.
- Be the focal point & have a completions orientated attitude for the assigned MDT area and address any upcoming issues promptly in line with MEH contractual requirements.
- Liaise with Site Wide Records Discipline Leads to progress specific area LTQR Deliverables, on time and ensure 100% RFT.
- Complete records against area scope and LOD management.
- Monitor and offer continuous support to assigned area technicians to ensure performance and targets are met (coordinating and assigning individual Records Technicians work).
- Support with training and knowledge sharing amongst the team, provide data for management review and reporting.
- Responsible for tracking area progress and create reports for management review.
What we’re looking for :
- Excellent IT skills and experience using document management systems, preferably with experience handling LTQRs, EESRs or other specific construction/engineering reports.
- Proven experience of interaction and resolving issues with a wide range of stakeholders from varying organisations and across many levels.
- Experience working in a quality assurance/control environment within the nuclear industry or other relevant safety critical industry would be advantageous.
- Qualifications in an Engineering discipline, ONC / HNC / HND (or equivalent experience) beneficial but not mandatory.
