Key Responsibilities:

Key Skills:
- Degree qualified in a relevant field.
- Experienced senior quality/technical manager with a stable background in food manufacturing.
- HACCP/Food Safety Level 4 certification.
- Proficient in internal auditing and leading HACCP teams.
- Comprehensive knowledge of UK major retail systems and demands.
- Management experience in a demanding environment (minimum 5 years).
- Strong understanding of quality systems and compliance requirements.

As a Quality Manager, you will be providing competent and efficient technical support and service to both internal teams and external customers to ensure that the product and service provided is fit for purpose and meets both external and internal requirements, including legal compliance and customer expectations.
Quality Manager's Duties
- Hygiene standards and verification
- Daily quality checks including: metal detection, weight control, product QAS checks, calibration, allergen control product analysis
- Internal audits - daily & weekly
- Working knowledge of quality systems: BRC, TACCP, VACCP, HACCP and RSPO
- Customer specific requirements with regard to policies, QAS and due diligence testing are monitored and actioned
- To ensure all non-conforming materials are correctly identified, documented etc.
- Responsilbilyt for BRC, HACCP, 3rd Party and Retailer audits
- Participate in a root cause analysis, ensure corrective actions implement and the correct disposal of any affected materials
Quality Manager's Experience
- Degree qualified
- Experienced senior quality / technical manager and held a stable position within FM environment
- HACCP / Food Safety Level 4.
- Internal auditing / leading HACCP team
- BRC system maintenance and implementation
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of UK major retail, their systems and demands with past / ongoing experience
- Management experience within a demanding environment (min 5 years)
- Full product integrity and be the point of contact for all quality / technical related issues on site.
- Maintaining an audit ready site and deliver a high and consistent BRC grade
- Driving and delivering quality cultural change across the operations
- Maintain and improve systems
- Manage the Quality / Technical team and provide required coaching and development
