Summary: The Quality/HSE/Auditor role is a part-time position requiring two days of work per week, focused on supporting health, safety, and environmental compliance within the Coventry/Birmingham area. The role involves conducting risk assessments, managing contractors, and implementing management systems to ISO standards. Candidates must possess relevant qualifications and experience in HSE practices. The initial contract duration is six months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk assessments and implement management systems to ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and ISO 45001 standards.
- Support office and warehouse facilities with HSE requirements, including fire safety and workstation assessments.
- Manage and oversee contractors and subcontractors for HSE compliance.
- Deliver HSE inductions, training sessions, and safety communications to employees.
- Conduct site inspections for field service engineers and subcontractors.
- Utilize Microsoft Office for administrative tasks, reporting, and documentation.
- Travel to Coventry/Birmingham and customer/project sites as required.
- Communicate effectively and produce reports on HSE matters.
Key Skills:
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in risk assessment techniques.
- Proven experience in implementing and auditing management systems to ISO standards.
- Experience in HSE support for office and warehouse environments.
- Ability to manage contractors and ensure compliance with HSE standards.
- Effective communication and report-writing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
